26 January Republic Day 2022 Speech

26 January Republic Day 2022 Speech :- Good morning to everyone present here for this special auspicious day!  I (my name here) am a student of class…….  (If you are a teacher, say I am a teacher) On this special occasion of today, we all have gathered to celebrate the 73rd Republic Day of India.

First of all, I want to thank all of you / want that all of you have given me this opportunity on this auspicious day that I can put my thoughts and words in front of you on Republic Day.  Today is the day to remember the immortal stories of sacrifice, penance, valor and sacrifice of those patriots, due to which we have been able to establish a republic.

After centuries of independence, we got independence on 15 August 1947.  We all celebrate this day as Republic Day.

The date of 26 January has its own importance in the history of freedom struggle.  Late Shri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru declared complete independence in 1930 at the Lahore session of Congress on the banks of river Ravi.

On 26 January 1930, he pledged that “Our freedom struggle movement will continue till we get complete independence.  And we will sacrifice our lives to get it.

For this reason, the day of 26 January was chosen for the declaration of the Republic of India.  On this day we became completely independent, on that day Dr. Rajendra Prasad became the first President of our nation in place of Lord Mountbatten (Governor General).  Even today this festival is celebrated with great pomp.

Our great freedom fighters fought throughout their lives for ‘Swaraj’ in India.  They also sacrificed their lives so that their coming generation i.e. we do not have to struggle and we can take the country forward, but where have we all stood today.

It is a matter of great shame that even after so many 70 years of independence we are facing problems like crime, corruption and violence, it is well known to all.  Today we have to come together once again to throw out these evils from our country like the freedom fighter leaders had thrown the British out of our country.

We have to make India the country again of the dreams of these freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lal Bahadur Shastri.

 Let’s wave the tricolor together

It is your republic day, come, dance, dance and celebrate.

Celebrate your 72nd Republic Day with joy,

Pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.

In the end, I would like to thank all of you for allowing me to put my words before you on this auspicious occasion of Republic Day.  Once again a very Happy Republic Day to all of you, thank you

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat, Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata ki Jai.

Wish you a very Happy Republic Day 26 January 2022!!!
